Beautiful location and fantastic staff right in the city centre
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The place was beautiful and right in the centre of Oaxaca. The breakfast was great and affordable.
The room had its charm, in a historical building, but was quite small.

Nice hotel in a good location without a reliable staff or restaurante, BEWARE TRAVELERS NO ENGLISH!!
Location only. Comfortable and nice looking.
Only one person at the main desk spoke English. The rest just shrugged their shoulders when we asked a question. Problem was the English speaking staff was not always on duty. Restaurant was very, very slow. Again, only one woman understood our order. The wait time was terrible to even get a drink let alone a meal. Very quickly we realized not to use the restaurant. Too big of a hassle!! Ridiculous!!! Staff of the hotel couldn't even call us a taxi. We went to the restaurant to get a Margarita and it took us 30 minutes to find someone. They were nice but the drink was warm and did not have ice (or any tequila that we could tell!!!) Overall, because of the staff and the the restaurant, we won't recommend to friends or return to this hotel. The stay was good because of location and the room was nice, but the staff quality kept us from relaxing and enjoying our stay. Overall, quite a hassle!!!
